How to Measure
Prep Your Nails
Remove polish and gently push back your cuticles so the full nail base is visible. Clean, dry nails give the most accurate reading.
Under good lightingMeasure the Width
Place a ruler at the base of your nail — cuticle edge to cuticle edge. Record the measurement in millimeters. Repeat all 10 fingers.

Tips for Accuracy
- 01 Measure at the base of the nail bed, not the tip — the base is always wider and gives the correct sizing.
- 02 Measure all 10 fingers individually. Nail widths often differ between hands and between fingers.
- 03 Use a mm ruler or print our size template at exactly 100% scale — never "fit to page".
- 04 Measure in the evening when fingers are at their natural size, not right after a shower or workout.
- 05 Between two sizes? Always choose the larger size — it can be gently filed. A size too small won't sit flat.
